Latest Budget SLR Introduction from Seagull
Despite the digital revolution, there is still a
solid market for enthusiasts and students looking for a dependable,
totally manual SLR such as the new Seagull DF-200A which can
be obtained for around £129.99 with a 50mm f1.8 standard
lens, or £149.99 with 28-70mm f3.5/4.5 zoom.
Noteworthy for a budget model, the DF-200A incorporates a
verticle travel metal-bladed shutter, delivering speeds from
1-1/2000th sec plus B and X flash synchronisation at a useful
1/125th sec. or lower.
To provide the widest possible lens compatibility of marque
and independent types including Seagull's own range, the DF-200A
employs the PKA bayonet lens mount.
Other features include manual TTL centre-weighted exposure
control with LED viewfinder indication, a bright acute matte
screen with microprism and split image spot focusing, ISO
speeds of 25-3200, multi-exposure function and a self timer.
Available in a choice of champagne or black finish the Seagull
DF-200A, is available from selected independent specialist
photographic outlets. |
